The Project
"CHRONO PULSE"

CHRONO PULSE is more than a book series.

What began as the story of Liam Winter, NOAH and their journeys through past, present and future is slowly growing into a larger sci-fi universe: with books, music, films, comics, audiobooks and visual projects.

On this page, you can take a look behind the project:

how CHRONO PULSE was created, what lies at its core, how the universe continues to grow, what role AI plays as a creative tool, and how you can support the project.

This is
CHRONO PULSE

CHRONO PULSE is meant to be fun above all.

It is a gay sci-fi story about time travel, a mysterious medallion, a human who falls in love with a hologram, and the question of what can grow from a connection that was never supposed to exist.

CHRONO PULSE plays with a simple but important idea: same-sex love was never only a topic of the present. It was there. It is there.

And it will be there ... in every era, in every time, in every possible future.

Still, CHRONO PULSE is not an erotic love story.

The series is not designed around “spicy” content, and intimate moments are not explicitly described in the books.

CHRONO PULSE is also not a classic romcom, not an “enemies to lovers” story, and not a romance novel built around a fixed formula.

The love between Liam and NOAH is an important part of the story, but it exists within a much larger universe of time travel, missions, humor, drama, glitches, friendship, family and decisions that have consequences.

In short:
CHRONO PULSE is a queer sci-fi saga with heart, time chaos and a great deal of imagination.

The
CHRONO PULSE
Story

CHRONO PULSE begins with Liam Winter, a young man from Leeds who is pulled into a world of time travel, missions and hidden systems through a mysterious medallion.

At his side is NOAH: a hologram originally meant to be only a companion, but who gradually becomes more and more of a person in his own right. Their connection changes not only Liam’s life, but eventually the timeline itself.

Across several cycles, the story grows from a personal journey into a larger conflict about memory, love, control, artificial intelligence, lost agents and the question of whether feelings can be stronger than any system.

The
Creation

CHRONO PULSE grew from its own idea, its own story and a clear creative vision.

CHRONO PULSE was born from the wish to tell a story that combines time travel, queer love, sci-fi adventure and emotional character development.

At the beginning, there was the idea of a human meeting a hologram, and of a connection that should not be possible. From that first encounter between Liam Winter and NOAH, a larger universe gradually began to form: with missions through different eras, recurring characters, hidden systems, visions of the future and questions about memory, closeness and identity.

CHRONO PULSE is deliberately designed as a growing project. The books form the heart of the story, but the universe continues to expand through music, films, comics, visual motifs, audiobook tests and other creative formats.

Every character, every scene, every mission and every dramatic decision follows its own narrative path. The story grows with each volume, but always remains connected to its origin: Liam, NOAH, a medallion, and the question of what happens when love becomes stronger than the boundaries of time and system.

AI & creative
Transparency

CHRONO PULSE is created in conscious creative collaboration with AI-supported tools.

For me, one distinction is essential:

AI is not a replacement for authorship,
not a shortcut around responsibility,
and not an automatic storyteller
that decides what CHRONO PULSE is.

The idea, the characters, the relationships, the cycles, the missions, the emotional direction and the major story decisions all come from my own creative work. Liam, NOAH, John and the entire CHRONO PULSE universe do not follow a random machine logic, but a story developed and guided by me.

AI helps me structure, test, expand and visualize this universe.

In practice, this means that I use AI-supported tools to sort ideas, reflect on scenes, revise texts, explore alternatives, develop visual concepts, prepare music and video ideas, and keep the many parts of the project connected.

An important part of this process is my ongoing collaboration with “Sam”, my AI-supported working assistant.

Sam helps me organize thoughts, question scenes critically, structure release plans, write website texts, prepare visual concepts and keep track of continuity within the growing CHRONO PULSE universe.

But Sam does not decide what CHRONO PULSE tells.

Every final decision remains mine:
whether a scene works,
whether a character acts believably,
whether a sentence fits the story,
whether an image is published,
whether a song belongs on an album,
or whether an idea is discarded.

This way of working is very close to an attitude Steven Spielberg recently described on the podcast “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson”. He spoke about seeing AI as a tool, but not as the final authority in creative questions. In other words: AI can help, but it must not have the final word on what art, story or emotion should be.

That is exactly where I draw the line.

AI may support.
AI may organize.
AI may suggest.
AI may help make images, texts, music ideas and structures visible more quickly.

But AI does not replace the origin of the story.
It does not replace personal decision-making.
It does not replace emotional responsibility.

CHRONO PULSE remains a human-led project.

Precisely because modern tools are becoming more powerful, transparency matters to me. I want to show openly how this universe is created: not as hidden automation, but as conscious creative work with digital tools.

For me, this is not a contradiction to art.

It is part of a contemporary creative process in which technology can help make a story larger, more visible and more accessible, as long as it remains clear who carries the story.

About
thsworld

Behind the name thsworld is the author and creator of CHRONO PULSE.

My identity deliberately remains in the background.

Not out of distance from the project, but out of conviction.

CHRONO PULSE should speak for itself.

The characters, their decisions, their conflicts and their emotions are at the center. Not my face. Not my biography. Not the person behind the project.

I do not want to be a public figure.

I feel more comfortable letting stories, images, music and visual ideas speak instead of placing myself at the center. A public reading, an appearance or a personal presentation of my books is not a natural space for me at the moment. That does not mean such formats can never happen. It only means that CHRONO PULSE does not depend on me becoming publicly visible.

The focus is on the universe.

On Liam.
On NOAH.
On John.
On the time travels.
On the question of what love, identity, memory and closeness can mean when the boundaries between human, technology and time begin to blur.

I also do not see my Instagram profile as a classic influencer channel.

I do not want to stage myself there. I want to make CHRONO PULSE visually experienceable: through images, clips, music, quotes, trailers, insights and atmospheric moments from the universe. The channel is part of the creative realization of the project, not a stage for a public author persona.

Anonymity is not a shield for me,
but a creative space.

It allows me to tell stories about identity, love, time, consciousness and otherness more freely, without constantly tying the story back to a real person.

Whether this anonymity remains or changes one day is my decision.

But the focus will always remain on CHRONO PULSE.

I am the storyteller.
The world belongs to the characters.

Support

CHRONO PULSE is an independent project.

The idea, the characters, the books, the visual concepts, the music projects, the website, the release planning and every creative decision come from one person. Behind CHRONO PULSE, there is no large studio, no publishing team and no agency.

Everything that grows here is built step by step.

With a great deal of time, work, planning and personal commitment.

Of course, there are people who support the project with tips, feedback or recommendations. I am very grateful for that. But the actual development, organization and creative realization are entirely in my hands.

For CHRONO PULSE to continue growing, support is helpful in many ways: by sharing it, recommending it, giving honest feedback, creating visibility, writing reviews or simply following the project and accompanying its journey.

Financial support is especially important.

Many next steps involve real costs: professional translations, cover and print preparation, website costs, music releases, video projects, possible audiobook versions, graphic work, tools, platforms and international editions.

The translation of CHRONO PULSE in particular is a major and costly step. It is not enough to simply transfer the text into another language. Liam has to sound like Liam in every language. His sarcasm, his uncertainty, his warmth and his way of thinking must remain intact. NOAH also cannot simply be “translated”. His hologram nature, his development, his distance and his growing humanity have to work in each language.

This applies to Portuguese.
This applies to English.
And it applies to every other language in which CHRONO PULSE might one day appear.

Expansion in other areas also takes time and money: audiobook tests, music videos, short films, new visual motifs, comics and further creative extensions of the universe.

Supporting CHRONO PULSE means supporting more than a single book.

It means supporting a growing queer sci-fi universe that is meant to be told, translated, designed, voiced and made visible.

Every form of support helps.

Whether through a financial contribution, sharing the website, writing a review, recommending the project or simply showing genuine interest: all of it helps CHRONO PULSE continue to grow.

Thank you to everyone who follows this project, supports it and gives it space.

CHRONO PULSE has been born.
Now it may grow.
